INSTALLATION SERVICES
Specialist installation for public art, sculpture and architectural works including in active public environments that require an advanced level of site awareness above that of conventional construction.
Our experience includes coordinating exclusion zones, pedestrian movements, motorised EWPs, lifting operations, environmental controls and specialist contractors while maintaining safe access to surrounding public spaces.
Our team understands that successful installation begins well before an artwork arrives on site. FABRICATION SERVICES
We understand that fabricating an artwork is different from fabricating a conventional structure.
Our role is often to work alongside the artist to determine how an idea can be made: developing details, connections, material selections and fabrication techniques that allow the work to retain its artistic character while satisfying structural, architectural and installation requirements.
This collaborative approach has seen Crafted Fabrications work with established and emerging Australian artists on new commissions, artwork modifications and technically complex sculptural projects for civic, commercial and residential environments.
From a single bespoke element to a major public artwork, our focus remains the same: craftsmanship, technical resolution and respect for the artist's vision.

Man and Matter Series - Two Man Archway
Conservation and protective recoating of artwork series consisting of 12 installations. The program included corrosion remediation, coating renewal and preventative asset maintenance.

After the Flood
Full conservation works were completed on these artworks in February 2026 after an initial Dilapidation Report. The initial report assisted the council in determining the best conservation approach, which ultimately consisted of revitalising three ceramic mosaic public artworks, including epoxy removal, biocide treatment, resin reapplication and UV protective sealing.
This project also included asset condition assessment and formal recommendation of 3-monthly presentation maintenance program.
